Joey Freedman is an experienced community builder and event leader in the cybersecurity industry, currently serving in a leadership role at SecureWorld, where he is focused on launching and growing executive CISO communities. Based in Portland, Oregon, he plays a key role in connecting security leaders, fostering collaboration, and delivering high-impact experiences that help organizations navigate an evolving threat landscape.

With a strong background in program management and executive engagement, Joey has a proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior leaders and curating meaningful peer-to-peer interactions. Prior to joining SecureWorld, he spent over seven years at Gartner supporting C-level communities, where he was consistently recognized as a top performer, including earning the organization’s prestigious Club 110 distinction 3 years in a row.

Joey’s expertise lies at the intersection of community development, event strategy, and executive networking. He is passionate about creating environments where leaders can share insights, solve complex challenges, and build lasting professional relationships.
