Record $1 Billion Stolen in Bank Heist Attacks: How Hackers Are Doing It

I just finished watching the video (below) and I have chills.

I mean, what if you could earn $1 billion in just two years? That is apparently what hackers have pulled off without getting caught. 

It is fascinating that what cybersecurity researchers at Kaspersky Lab thought would be just another malware case led them to discover how banks around the globe have been getting fleeced, a few million dollars at a time.

In what appears to be another complicated bank heist, "ATM jackpotting" has been seen in the U.S. in the last few months. It operates like a plot from Ocean's 11.

Both of these stories make me wonder: How much money are banks writing off each year due to hacks and cyber attacks?
