The InfoSec community in Dallas is made up of people, like you, who care about making individual organizations and the region as a whole more secure.

We know this because of our conversations with local leaders, and because of those who are stepping up to share cybersecurity insights and best practices at SecureWorld Dallas, October 10-11 at Plano Center.

Let’s just look at the first sessions of the day on October 10 as an example:

Texas cybersecurity and privacy attorney Shawn E. Tuma is talking about something he sees as crucial for security managers and leaders: how strategic leadership and an understanding of roles, personalities, and psychology is important for building and managing effective cybersecurity teams.

Scott Giordano, VP of Data Protection at Spirion, is presenting on “Everything You Need to Know About the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018,” which becomes law in less than 18 months.

And what about the resource dilemma security leaders face? Mark Langford, Principal Consultant at Aberfoyle Associates, will show you how to “Win the Funding Battle and Get the Resources You Need to Prepare an Adequate Cyber Defense.”

And how can Machine Learning-Based Software Defined Networking help you secure your organization? Tam Nguyen, Cyber Threat Researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, is sharing his expertise and recommendations for both solution designers and potential buyers on how to build or choose a future-proof ML-based SDN security solution.

All these sessions happen before we even get to the opening keynote on day 1!

Join your cybersecurity and risk peers for networking, sharing of best practices, and two days that will leave you refreshed and recharged.
