Sometimes we'll stumble across a video that makes us stop and think.
This is one of those cases.
It's an incredibly well made 3 minute documentary on Artificial Intelligence.
Called "The Human Keynote," the only words involved are powerful lines from keynotes humans have done on AI. But you never see a single speaker.
The Human Keynote - Short AI documentary from Morgan Goodsmith on Vimeo.
Powerful and chilling, isn't it? We've heard these things before but rarely as succinctly and powerfully as this.
SecureWorld asked documentary creators Morgan Goodsmith & Oliver Pearson about their work.
SecureWorld: What is the goal of this short film on AI?
"The goal of this documentary is to inform and educate people since artificial intelligence is a lot closer than a lot of people think. We’re very happy with the response we’ve had from people we’ve shared this with and it brings new light into this topic."
SecureWorld: What is your take on AI?
"Artificial intelligence is quite under spoken about in my opinion and it has incredible potential resulting in good or very bad consequences. We wanted to communicate the thoughts and ideas we had about this topic and a short documentary-style video was the best way to keep people interested while also keeping it on topic. It’s a super interesting topic to talk about and it goes very deep from the parameters we’d need to set in order for AI to be safe to the potential of AI such as creating vaccines and medicine to solving our most complex problems."
This is a fantastic video to share next time someone is asking you about AI because it cuts to the quick on the potential and pitfalls in a dramatic fashion.
