To hear Ben Bernstein tell it, a lot has happened since Twistlock became a security startup in 2015.
He writes on his blog that the Portland, Oregon, company started with a simple mission to help make containers more secure.
And now, he says, that's just a small piece of the pie. Much now focuses on the journey to the cloud:
"Twistlock unifies protection in a single, cloud native cybersecurity platform, one that integrates across the application lifecycle and delivers automated protection at all layers of the stack. Three years ago this approach was unheard of...."
This latest round of cash brings the company's total funding to $63 million, which is on the high end for security startups that operate in the cloud native ecosystem.
