Politico got a somewhat unusual scoop over the weekend.
It's a photo of cybersecurity reminders going up at the DNC, in restrooms.
And it shows a security team that wants to build security awareness and partner with the business, just like InfoSec leaders talk about at SecureWorld conferences.
"Avoid sharing sensitive or private information over email. If you or your team have a need to share such sensitive information with others, please let us know... and we will assist you to meet your need securely."
The message from IT security is no longer "no;" instead, it is how can we help?
Among other tips, a reminder and offer to help is also at the bottom of the Quick Notes on Cybersecurity flyer: "Remember, Email is not a secure method of communication, and if you see something odd, say something. Questions? Ask Us."
The flyers were revealed in Politico's story on how political campaigns and candidates remain easy prey for hackers.
