When our kids were toddlers, life went something like this: Work all day, home to eat dinner and do chores, then bath time followed by goodnight prayers and story time, when daddy read the kids (and sometimes himself) to sleep.
That was typically followed by some late night toy and Lego cleanup in the playroom, which looked like a bomb had gone off. My wife and I would've paid someone to clean that stuff up!
Now a Japanese company may be solving that cleanup problem for future generations of parents by using Artificial Intelligence.
Check out this video of their cleanup robots in action and ask yourself: How much would I pay if I could go to bed with a messy house and wake up to a clean one?
The official name for this invention is the "Autonomous Tidying-up Robot System" because, apparently, "House Cleaning Robots" was too easy to remember.
No matter what the name is, this could be the AI breakthrough the world has been waiting for.
