In those moments, a trusted voice or official-looking message can easily bypass caution."

Quilici notes, "Fooling someone with short voice messages is fairly easy given the current state of AI." While longer, interactive conversations may still be challenging for AI, the progress being made in this area means that it may not be long before these attacks become more sophisticated and harder to detect.
