Ranking the roles of InfoSec leaders
So what did CISOs in the study identify as their most important roles? Here are the rankings:
- Ensure availability of IT services (limiting downtime)
- Protect sensitive or confidential information (data)
- Ensure compliance with both policies and regulations
- Prevent damage to the IT infrastructure
- Preserve customer/user trust
