The Red Sox Wi-Fi network name for players is "clubhouse," and the password (you would never guess this!) is "baseball."

The simplicity of it all was revealed during a post-game interview with Yankees manager Aaron Boone this week on the YES Network and covered by Yahoo Sports, with the network name and password info directly behind him.

Not hard to guess password, none of the new NIST passphrase best practices here. Instead, something anyone could guess.

This tweet made fun of of the Red Sox IT security team, if there is one:

The Red Sox responded to giving away their Wi-Fi password and had some fun with it themselves:

Of course, this reminds of us the old "put your password on a sticky note trick" that came to light at the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency after the false incoming missile alert that went out to phones all over the islands.

Someone found it in a photo from an earlier interview on the alert system, and it became a Twitter sensation:
