Our Advisory Council members in Philadelphia are fantastic, and they make it possible to build a powerful day of peer collaboration for those in InfoSec.

This is the fifteenth year of the SecureWorld cybersecurity conference in Philadelphia, happening March 28-29.

Erik Skoog of the SecureWorld team is the Event Director in Philadelphia, and he recently posted the following on his LinkedIn page. We thought we should pass it along.

Devon Bryan is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Federal Reserve System, and he’s also the opening keynote for Day 1 of SecureWorld Philadelphia.

In any cybersecurity leadership role, he says you must “First, know thyself.” And during his session he’ll be exploring “the applicability of this ancient proverb in battling tomorrow’s cyber threats.”

Devon has a rich perspective on this because of his role. As CISO, he oversees information security, including incident response, for the enterprise—ensuring information security architecture, standards, policies, and programs remain effective and efficient.

Another keynote will be on “Growing and Maturing a Modern Cyber Risk Program” featuring three-time CISO Demetrios “Laz” Lazarikos.

Our Advisory Council has done a great job. This is going to be a fantastic two days for InfoSec in Philadelphia!

Please join your peers at the 15th annual SecureWorld cybersecurity conference at the Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel on March 28-29, 2018.

You can see the updated agenda, view attendee levels, and register for a powerful day of learning and networking that is focused on the future of cybersecurity and leadership.

See you next week,
