That Siri... she's always listening. And then, speaking.

The UK's Defense Minister Gavin Williamson was briefing the House of Commons about efforts to combat the Islamic State when, according to [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/07/03/order-order-apple-iphones-siri-makes-debut-debate-house-commons/), he mentioned Syria three times in a row, which woke up Siri. And this is what happened next:

*“I have found something on the web with reference to Syria, democratic forces supported by,”* Siri said over the House of Commons speakers.

Mr. Williamson said: “It is an intervention”—referring to the practice when MPs are allowed to make comments during a fellow MP’s speech—adding: “*But I do apologise for that. It is very rare that you are heckled by your own mobile phone. On this occasion it is a new Parliamentary convention, without a doubt."*

This certainly makes us wonder about privacy and whether we have any of it when our devices are around.
