United Airlines banned him from the friendly skies after he hacked into onboard flight systems as a passenger. 

The hacker, security researcher and regular [SecureWorld contributor](https://www.secureworld.io/industry-news/author/chris-roberts), says he has personally hacked into onboard flight systems up to 20 times.

So it's no wonder Chris Roberts is featured in the first episode of a new Science Channel series, [Mysteries of the Missing](https://www.sciencechannel.com/tv-shows/mysteries-of-the-missing/).

Episode one chronicles the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370), which vanished without a trace on March 8, 2014.

The episode asks how something so closely monitored could simply disappear. Be prepared to get chills if you watch this trailer:
