New York Magazine may have been one of the first to catch that former Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren was suddenly tweeting about how much she loved the country of Turkey and its leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Some of the impostor tweets even tagged President Donald Trump, who follows her on the social media platform.
"Looks like political commentator Greta Van Susteren is gonna have to break out the Sorry App she created last year. Her Twitter account appears to have been compromised by 'the Turkish cyber army' on behalf of the country’s leader," the magazine reported.
At least some of her followers were surprised by her comments and apparently unaware it was not actually her:
