And that's what is happening with the cybersecurity talent gap.
A brand new initiative aims to recruit and train the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. And those who go through the program could see up to $75,000 of their college tuition bill vanish into thin air along with placement in some great cyber roles.
The nonprofit, nonpartisan Partnership for Public Service is launching the Cybersecurity Talent Initiative in conjunction with a mishmash of finance, IT, HR organizations, and federal government agencies.

First of all, you have to apply and be accepted. Apply here.
Secondly, if you are selected, you will be guaranteed a two-year placement at a federal agency with cybersecurity opportunities.
Third, before the conclusion of your federal service, you will be eligible for full-time positions with the program’s private sector partners.
And fourth, once hired, you will receive up to $75,000 in student loan assistance.
